I love this color of pink purple in copper bearing tourmaline. It is bright and fresh and unique to copper bearing tourmaline. That makes it rare and desirable in my book. It is moderately included and does not have the best crystal It weighs carats. 0488

This oval has the lavender color I associate with copper. It has great crystal and appears to be eye clean. It has a moderately light pastel color and weighs 3.78 colors 0496.

This oval is the best saturated purple in the collection that does not have copper as a chromophore. The purple which is still a reddish purple floods in from the ends of the moderately dichroic oval. It has one principle feather that is eye visible. The flaw does impact the gemstone, but it is minimized by the great rich color. It weighs 2.71 carats. 0533

This oval has a rarer color for tourmaline and the touch of purple indicates its cuprian nature. It has a small white inclusion at the corner of the table, but it detracts little from this gemstone. It has a moderate tone value and weighs 1.51 carats. 0539

This dark rich oval appears to be eye clean. Its principle axis color is a dark purple with a sort of bronze color on the long sides. The stone still flashes well at a personal level. It appears to have fine crystal and weigh 3.27 carats. 0546

This evenly color emerald cut has too much yellow in its color to be grass green. So let it be acid green. It appears to be eye clean and with fine crystal. It weighs 1.93 carats.

With cuprian purples, I go for biggest stone I can cut with the proper angles. Cuprian purples are mostly included with non flashing inclusions after you get rid of the major flaws/feathers. And that is what is under the table of this oval. None of them left a mark on the table when I polish it and while visible by eye, they have little impact on this beauty.
