Orange Tourmaline Gemstones
Round – 1 to 5 Carats
The oranges, that alternate around this moderately dichroic standard round brilliant's face, have a heavy touch of pink. The resulting color is similar to the old "flesh" color in the crayon box. It is lightly included, but still a bright flashy gem. It weighs 1.64 carats and has been accepted by the droplets of color for its slightly different look at orange. 0989
A bright, vivid orange is not common in tourmaline, but this standard round brilliant is blessed with just that color. It does have a bit of the reddish melon in it, but I still think that it is exceptional. And that goes for its eye clean look in a world of fine crystal. It weighs 2.21 carats. 1028
This standard round brilliant has such a rich saturated orangecolor with just a touch of the melon, that some might think that it is unnatural. But I am sure that all my oranges from Africa are nature's gift. This is because I cut them from material I got from a dealer close to the source. This stone has everything it needs to be a great gemstone. It weighs a nice 2.32 carats. 1038
This tourmaline is a beautiful orange. Many times I work to keep inclusions out from under the table and vertical to the table. In this way I minimize their impact on the beauty of the stone. In this standard round brilliant I was successful in my work, but the resulting presentation of the white non reflecting feather is stark. Still I got a bright flash stone of good size that is relatively unaffected by the significant inclusion when view from most angles. It weighs a vivid, medium toned 2.97 carats. 1095
